VPN Setup Guide: From Account to Connection

This page covers the essential first-use flow: prepare your account, choose a plan, get your subscription, import it into a client, and confirm that the connection works as expected. Complete the steps in order; do not configure the client before the subscription is active.

Account preparation

Create an account and open the user dashboard

Start by opening the VPNNB account creation page. The account process does not require an email address; a username and password are enough. You will use the username to sign in later, while the password protects your plan, subscription details, and order history. Choose a combination that you do not reuse on other websites, and save it in a trusted password manager.

On the page, enter your username and password in order, check the details, and submit the account information. The user dashboard usually opens after creation; if you remain on the sign-in screen, use the username and password you just set. Once inside, confirm that you can see the account overview, plan, client download, or subscription options before continuing.

At this stage, you only need to prepare the account; there is no need to create accounts on multiple devices. VPNNB supports unlimited simultaneous devices, so one active account can be configured on your own devices. However, subscription details remain account information and should not be posted on public websites, in groups, or in shared documents. If you forget your password, are repeatedly returned to the sign-in screen, or your browser cannot retain the session, visit the Support Center for account and sign-in troubleshooting.

Choose a subscription

Review the data rules and choose a plan

After signing in, open the plans section and decide whether a monthly subscription or a data package better matches your usage. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. This suits regular use when you want a fixed amount of data each month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated by the remaining days, so review the settlement shown in the dashboard before confirming.

Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire. This option suits irregular usage or anyone who does not want monthly resets. Monthly subscriptions and data packages use different billing models, so compare more than the total data allowance: consider the usage period, whether you stay connected for long periods, and combined consumption across devices.

Once you have chosen a billing model, select the relevant option under the plan and open the order confirmation page. Confirm that the plan name, price, and data rules match, then choose a payment method offered on the page: Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. After payment, return to the user dashboard and wait for the order status to update to an active plan. Do not assume the subscription is ready just because the payment page has closed; check the plan status and subscription option in the dashboard.

All plans are covered by the 7-day no-questions-asked refund policy shown on the page. The Terms of Service determine the application process and scope. If you are unsure which billing model fits, read plan pricing and data rules first, compare the options, and then return to the dashboard to avoid placing another order because of a misunderstanding.

Get configuration

Get subscription details from the user dashboard

Once the plan is active, open the account overview in the user dashboard. The subscription option is usually near the current plan, remaining data, and active status. Confirm that the plan is available, then open the subscription or one-click import section. The dashboard may offer different import methods for your device, including a copyable subscription URL; both methods ultimately provide the client with the route configuration it manages.

If you copy the subscription, look for the completion message after clicking Copy. Do not test the subscription URL in chat windows, search fields, or untrusted online tools, because its identifying information can be linked to your account. To use it on another device, transfer it through a trusted method and delete the temporary copy after importing it on the target device.

The address below only shows what a subscription link looks like. It does not connect to VPNNB or provide any routes. Get the real subscription from the user dashboard after signing in:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

Do not close the user dashboard immediately after copying. During the next client import step, return to the dashboard and copy the address again if the client reports an invalid format, an empty subscription, or an update failure. Check that no characters are missing from the beginning, end, or query parameters. If the plan is not active, do not keep switching clients; check the order and plan status first. If the dashboard does not show a subscription option, contact the Support Center for order-status and subscription-refresh guidance.

Client configuration

Import the subscription on your device

Download the client from the signed-in user dashboard or follow the dashboard instructions; download eligibility depends on an active plan. This page does not provide static installers or list version URLs that may change. Open the dashboard’s download area, choose your current system, install the client, then return to this section for the platform-specific import steps. Client names may differ, but the core flow is the same: open subscription management, add the subscription URL, update the route list, and choose a route.

Windows client

Download and install the Windows client from the user dashboard. On first launch, look for “Subscription,” “Configuration Management,” or “Add Configuration” in the sidebar or top menu. Choose Import from URL and paste the copied subscription URL in full. You can name it something recognizable, such as a VPNNB configuration, then save it.

After saving, update the subscription once. The client should show a list of regions or routes rather than only one subscription URL. Choose a target route and turn on the connection switch. If Windows asks for network permission, verify the application source and allow the required access. If the connection switch is on but no route list appears, update the subscription instead of reinstalling the client.

macOS client

After getting the macOS client from the user dashboard, install the app in the system Applications folder and launch it. On first run, macOS may ask you to approve a network extension or add a VPN configuration. Follow the system prompts to open the relevant settings and confirm the permissions, then return to the client and open subscription management or configuration.

Choose the option to add a subscription by URL, paste the address provided in the dashboard, save it, and update. Once the route list appears, choose a region and connect. If permission prompts keep returning, confirm that the network extension has been approved, then quit and reopen the client. For more details on permissions and using VPN alongside Apple services, read the macOS VPN setup guide.

Android client

Choose Android in the download area of the user dashboard and get the relevant client using the method provided there. After installing and opening it, look for Add subscription, Import from URL, or New remote configuration on the configuration page. When pasting the subscription URL, make sure no line breaks or extra spaces from copying are included.

After saving, tap Update and wait for the route names to appear in the client. When you select a route and connect, the system will usually show a VPN connection permission dialog; the client can establish the connection only after you confirm it. If the connection stops after switching networks, disconnect first, then reconnect on the new network. There is no need to create the subscription again.

iOS client

Follow the instructions shown in the user dashboard’s download area to get the iOS client. After installation, open it and go to Subscription, Remote Configuration, or Add Service. If the dashboard offers one-click import, start it there and confirm in the client. If you are copying the URL, choose Add from URL and paste the subscription address.

When connecting for the first time, iOS will ask you to allow a VPN configuration to be added. Complete the system confirmation, return to the client, update the subscription, and choose a route. After connecting, the system status area will show the VPN status. If the subscription updates but no routes are available, return to the dashboard, confirm that the plan is active, and refresh the configuration. For more common iOS entry points, see the import steps in this section or the client category in the Support Center.

Get the client Sign in to get the subscription; download eligibility depends on an active plan.

Connection check

Choose a route and verify the connection

After the client updates the subscription, choose a route based on the region you need to access. Route distance, your current local network, the target service’s region, and the device’s network status all affect performance, so no single route needs to be the default for every situation. For initial setup, start with a geographically nearby route that matches the target region and intended use, then connect.

After clicking Connect, check that the client status changes from Connecting to Connected and that there are no repeated retries, authentication failures, or unavailable-configuration messages. Then open VPNNB’s IP check page and see whether the current exit details have changed. The exit region should match the selected route’s direction. If the original network exit still appears, refresh the page and confirm that the client’s system proxy or VPN mode is enabled.

Next, open the website or app you actually need and perform a basic access check. A connected route only means that the network path has been established; it does not guarantee that every target platform will be available. Streaming content can also depend on the account region, content licensing, and platform rules. AI Tools may return different results based on account settings and service region. If a target service is unavailable, first switch to another route in the same region and verify again instead of deleting the account or placing another order.

If a webpage will not open after connecting, check these items in order: whether the subscription updated, whether the plan is active, whether a route is selected, whether system permissions allow the connection, and whether the local network is working. If only one website has a problem, test other websites to distinguish a general connection issue from a single-service issue. If no route connects, temporarily disconnect the client, confirm that the original network works normally, and then check the client and connection sections in the Support Center.

Once verification is complete, the initial setup is finished. When changing devices later, you do not need to purchase again: sign in to the same account and, while the plan is active, get the client and subscription and import them again. When the subscription changes, use the client’s update function first rather than deleting and adding it again. For route types, streaming-region behavior, and more detailed troubleshooting, continue with the systematic connection and access guide; those advanced topics are not repeated here.

Post-setup checklist

Keep your account information secure and update the subscription regularly. After switching networks or routes, check the client status and exit IP again. When something goes wrong, first determine whether the issue is with the account, configuration, route, or local network, then open the relevant help section.
